Masari appoints commissioner for religious affairs
Governor Aminu Masari of katsina State has sworn in Alhaji Tanimu Audi Bindawa as Commissioner for Religious Affairs.
Bindawa becomes the 15th commissioner in the state executive council.
Speaking at the swearing-in, Masari said the new appointment was based on ensuring fairness and giving all parts of the state a sense of belonging in his administration.
While urging the appointee to be upright, Masari asked the appointee’s constituents not to put pressure on him as the Ministry of Religious Affairs ‘is not a contract awarding’ institution.
