We’ll en­sure pupils ex­cel in sci­ences – Abaji LEA scribe

The Sec­re­tary of the Lo­cal Ed­u­ca­tion Au­thor­ity (LEA) Abaji Area Coun­cil, Dr. Has­san Suleiman, has said he will en­sure that pri­mary school pupils in the area ex­celled in science sub­jects.

Ad­dress­ing pupils of the Abaji East Pri­mary School af­ter he com­mis­sioned an art work by some pupils of the school, he noted that giv­ing pri­or­ity to science sub­jects will en­able pupils of the coun­cil em­u­late Ja­pan, which used science to be­come what it is glob­ally to­day.

Dr. Suleiman, who said Abaji emerged over all winner dur­ing last year’s English competition or­ga­nized for pri­mary school pupils in the FCT, was happy that the pupils have made Abaji and the LEA proud.

“The present APC ad­min­is­tra­tion of Al­haji Ab­dul­rah­man Ajiya is plan­ning to en­sure that ev­ery child is given the op­por­tu­nity to ex­plore his or her po­ten­tial sci­en­tif­i­cally and oth­er­wise, and pupils of this school have started prov­ing it,” he said.

The LEA sec­re­tary com­mended the pupils of the school for hav­ing in­ter­est in art.
