We’ll ensure pupils excel in sciences – Abaji LEA scribe

- By Abubakar Sadiq Isah

The Secretary of the Local Education Authority (LEA) Abaji Area Council, Dr. Hassan Suleiman, has said he will ensure that primary school pupils in the area excelled in science subjects.

Addressing pupils of the Abaji East Primary School after he commissioned an art work by some pupils of the school, he noted that giving priority to science subjects will enable pupils of the council emulate Japan, which used science to become what it is globally today.

Dr. Suleiman, who said Abaji emerged over all winner during last year’s English competition organized for primary school pupils in the FCT, was happy that the pupils have made Abaji and the LEA proud.

“The present APC administration of Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya is planning to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to explore his or her potential scientifically and otherwise, and pupils of this school have started proving it,” he said.

The LEA secretary commended the pupils of the school for having interest in art.
