She explained that the factory was to support the federal government’s desire to bridge the housing deficit in the country which was well over 17 million units.

“All the components of a house will be designed and constructed in the factory, after which they will be moved to the constrution site where it will be assembled.

“It will take a minimum of seven days to finish the construction of a house. Once this is done, our hit-tech engineers will start to put together the interiors,” she said.

She said the technology will reduce cost by over 20 to 30 percent; eliminate wastage of materials at construction site and also reduce the time set out for construction work to be completed.

The group’s president also disclosed that the CTSR Group, is keen to establishing its own mortgage company that would take care of the financing aspect of the company.

“We offer technical service and consulting in the area of precast concrete manufacturing and construction. We also hope to provide our clients integrated solutions of precast concrete construction, for residential buildings, commercial buildings, public facilities, industrial facilities and infrastructure.

“The CTSR Group option for the construction of a house or an estate means that every aspect of the construction both inside and outside is included in a fixed price guarantee.

This includes doors, windows, painting, tiling, flooring, plumbing and electrical installations, heating, ventilation with heat recovery systems, sanitaryware and more,”she said.

Mrs Otti explained that when the company’s architects were designing houses, they reflect on current trends and styles.

She said, however that a client has the option to convert or upgrade their house design according to their personal preferences.

“This includes interior and exterior decoration, fixtures and fittings, and addons such as balconies, canopies and car ports,” she stated.

While reflecting on the desire of most Nigerians to own a home, she stated that with advanced precast concrete construction technology and expertise, CTSR Group was engaged in helping the customers to fully master precast concrete construction technology by delivering the smartest precast factory solution, and providing engineering services, technical consulting services and technical support in the whole lifecycle of construction project.
