Adron Homes unveils Manhattan parks

- By Mustapha Suleiman

Adron Homes & Properties has unveiled a vast estate named Manhattan Garden located along Abuja-Keffi road.

Speaking at the ceremony Adron Group Managing Director, Adetola Emmanuel King, said the building of the estate would be carried out in phases, adding that the first phase would cover over 200 hectares of the a total 2000 hectares of land.

He said Manhattan Garden is a replicate of the Manhattan Garden in the United States with all facilities provided.

King said the property market is not affected by the current economic recession, pointing out that hard work and diversification were the recipes to tackle recession.

“No recession for those who are hard working. The federal government should stop saying there is recession as there is a lot of work to be done. There are a lot of potentials untapped. We have the raw materials so why are people shouting recession.

“In Adron, throughout 20016, we didn’t see any recession because we are working and we are giving people the product - housing,’’ he said. He also disclosed that it had begun its Kuje housing project, starting with about 100 hectares and hoped to continue buying in phases.

He, however complained that lack of infrastructure was a major bane to the housing sector because without good infrastructure there was no housing.

“Ours is a financial engineering system that we incorporated right from the beginning to make sure that as we build housing units, it also goes together with infrastructures - light, good roads, drainage, recreational parks as you can see,’’ King said.

After completion both Manhattan and Kuje will accommodate not less than 10,000 families.
