Jane Park was just 17 when she won £1m ( about N382 million) in 2013 with her first ever lotto ticket.

But almost four years on, she says the jackpot has left her feeling “empty”, and called for the legal ticketbuyi­ng age to be raised from 16 to 18.

She told the Sunday People: “At times it feels like winning the lottery has ruined my life. I thought it would make it ten times better but it’s made it ten times worse. I wish I had no money most days.

“I have material things but apart from that my life is empty. What is my purpose in life?”

Jane, from Edinburgh, said she is fed up shopping for luxury goods and cannot find a boyfriend who isn’t just after her money. She said exclusive holiday resorts are “snooty” and misses going to Benidorm with her friends, where you can get “as drunk as you want”.

Although she retains a group of loyal pals and the support of her brother and sister, she said being so wealthy at such a young age was a burden few of her peers could understand.

She said: “There’s no point in going shopping all the time, you can only order so much. I get sick of it.”

Splashing out on Louis Vuitton handbags, Christian Laboutin shoes, an £18,000 purple Range Rover and two properties have failed to fill the void.

She also spent £4,500 on breast enlargemen­ts, but was refused liposuctio­n because the surgeon said she was not overweight.

But even acts of philanthro­py - such as helping to pay for a sick boy to travel to Florida for treatment - have left her fed up, as she is inevitably attacked by online trolls for her generosity.
