Nigeria to debut at Luxembourg International Polo

igeria will for the first time be participating in the Luxembourg Polo International Tournament.
The Polo tournament-cum-business conference is scheduled to hold from 6th - 9th July at Polo Club Luxembourg, Merl and will see business executives of both countries officials network on possible business ties with the theme: “Nigeria-Luxembourg Business Opportunities”.
The conference is organised under the LuxAfrica Business Conference which primarily oversees all businesses related to Luxembourg in Africa.
Joseph Odika of PoloPlus Magazine who alongside Luxembourg Polo Club initiated the programme said the event will bring about together the two countries in terms of economic and sporting ties.
“Luxembourg has no business representative in Nigeria but this will open the door of opportunities to foster business links and we are already looking forward to the programme,” Odika said.
The delegates from Nigerian companies include Agro Eknor, Hamon Integrated Services, Lead City Group, Sunsplash Business Systems, Manarat Global Resources, Susplan Engineering, Nas Autos and AJ Trimec Nigeria Limited.
The conference will hold at the Luxembourg Chambers of Commerce, Grand Duchy while the networking will be at the Polo Club Luxembourg, Merl.
Odika disclosed that some of the executives of the companies are polo patrons are will form teams that will represent Nigeria in the tournament.
