APC will save the Igbos — Okorocha

- From Emma Elekwa, Awka

Governor Rochas Okorocha has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will stop at nothing in ensuring that the party takes over Anambra state in the November 18 elections.

Okorocha, who stated this yesterday while inaugurating the Rochas Peoples Movement in Anambra State, told the state governor, Willie Obiano, to commence writing his handover note to an APC governor.

He said the movement was targeted at making its presence in every nook and cranny of the state, saying he owed the Igbo nation a duty of proper direction in Nigerian politics.

Represented by the South-south/Southeast coordinator of RPM, Dr Simon Nwulu, Okorocha explained that the Igbos would no longer belong to regional political parties.

“Anambra is critical in Igbo politics. So we shall all come down here to deliver the state to the ruling APC; we have the capacity, we have the capability,” he said.

“APC is the structure for the emancipation of the Igbo nation. No man born of a woman can stop us from taking over Anambra statecome November 18,” he said.

Assuring that no fewer than 63 members of Rochas Peoples Movement would be present at each polling unit to man the units and protect their votes during the election. The governor’s representative asked the members to get their voter’s cards ready ahead of the election.
