Children pray for President Buhari

Orphans and children have prayed for the quick recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari. While leading the prayer for the President at the Children’s Day party held at Divine Wounds of Jesus Christ Orphanage Home, Kubwa, Fidelis Paul asked that the president be healed before the end of the month.

“Anywhere our president is, we asked that you (God) put your healing hand upon him in Jesus name. May you continue blessing him. May he be healed before the end of this month in Jesus name. May we hear good news about President Buhari in Jesus name.”

The President of the Child Basic Rights Advocacy and Restoration Foundation( CHIBRARF) organisers of the Children’s day party, Onyinye Nwosu said the children cannot have children’s day without praying for their fathers and mothers .

“We cannot do Children’s day without the children remembering their mothers and their fathers. Our dear President Buhari is the fathers of all fathers. We know he is not in the country because of medical issues that is why we had a special prayer session for him, so that the lord will grant him quick recovery to continue his work.” she said.

The Special Guest of honour at the event, Dr Mike Ozekhome (SAN) asked for the domestication of the Child Right Acts by different states of the federation. “The domestication of the Child Rights Acts to me is a necessary action for any state government that claims to want to advance the cause of children.”

The Director of the Orphanage home, Charles Ikezemuoka called on the government to look in to the plight of vulnerable children especially the orphans in the society.
