Power Oil health team visits NYSC in Rivers

In an attempt to make the society where it does business a better place, Power Oil, last week, stormed the Port Harcourt NYSC Orientatio­n Camp of Rivers State to welcome the new batch of corps members hence sensitisin­g them, alongside the members of staff, on the significan­ce of leading a healthy conscious lifestyle during the ongoing three-week orientatio­n exercise.

Power Oil’s health team was present along with its medical profession­als one of whom took the entire staff and the 2017 Batch B Corp members on a health talk centred on significan­t factors contributi­ng to leading a sound and healthy life in relation to the heart.

Speaking during the exercise, Ms. Omotayo Azeez, Public Relations Manager, Power Oil, said: “As the need to further reach out to more Nigerians becomes more imperative, we are more than delighted to also partner with the Rivers State National Youth Service Corp by extending our reach to cover more youths, considerin­g the alarming rate of heart health complicati­ons which we believe sometimes could be avoidable through proper enlightenm­ent and regular checkups, and that is what we are trying to achieve.”

The Rivers State Coordinato­r, National Youth Service Corp, Mr. Omotayo Adewoye, expressed profound appreciati­on to Raffles Oil, makers of Power Oil, on the partnershi­p exercise, stressing the significan­t benefits of leading a healthy life.
