750 communities benefit from Canadian govt healthcare intervention
The Canadian Government, in collaboration with United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) and Jigawa State Government, has selected 750 remote communities for special mobile healthcare services intervention.
The country project Coordinator, Dr. Esther Obin, disclosed this when she visited some of the hard-to-reach communities in the state, saying the project was aimed at ensuring access to basic healthcare services, polio eradication and health education for the targeted communities.
