Ramadan: ECWA distributes food Items to Muslims in host community

The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) church at Lemu Road in Kaduna at the weekend distributed food items to Muslims within its host community in Tudun Nupawa, in the spirit of Ramadan.

Items distributed included Guinea corn, maize, millet, maggi, salt, sugar and noodles.

The pastor in charge of the church, Reverend Jonathan Emmanual said the annual distribution of food items was usually done during Ramadan to assist the Muslim faithful during the fasting period.

“This is the fourth edition of this gesture and we hope to sustain it,” he said.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, the village head of Tudun Nupawa, Alhaji Shuaibu B. Abdullahi commended the church for remembering them.
