Heads to roll in police over Evans’ confession

Heads may roll in the police following revelation of a senior police officer that he arrested billionaire kidnapper Chukwudumeme Onwuamdike, aka Evans, in 2006 for armed robbery and he was freed by a police officer.

It was gathered that the Police High Command has ordered a full scale investigation into the matter.

A senior police officer said, “Evans has confessed to the 2006 armed robbery attack on a bank and the shooting of seven persons. Following his confession the police authority wants to know how Evans was freed from the armed robbery offense.”
