Rep partners NBTI to train 22 women, youths
The House of Representatives member from Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency of Kano State, Bala Muhammed Dawaki, is collaborating with the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) to commence skill acquisition training for 22 women and youths from his constituency.
Addressing the participants, the House member who was represented on the occasion by Malam Sani Umar Plenti, told the participants that skill acquisition was a step towards being self-reliant, which he said was vital in the prevailing economic difficulties.
The NBTI Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Engineer Mohammed Jibrin, said the participants would be trained on fabrication of a multipurpose milling machine and other technical aspects of sustaining a viable business venture.
