Rep partners NBTI to train 22 women, youths

The House of Representa­tives member from Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituen­cy of Kano State, Bala Muhammed Dawaki, is collaborat­ing with the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) to commence skill acquisitio­n training for 22 women and youths from his constituen­cy.

Addressing the participan­ts, the House member who was represente­d on the occasion by Malam Sani Umar Plenti, told the participan­ts that skill acquisitio­n was a step towards being self-reliant, which he said was vital in the prevailing economic difficulti­es.

The NBTI Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Engineer Mohammed Jibrin, said the participan­ts would be trained on fabricatio­n of a multipurpo­se milling machine and other technical aspects of sustaining a viable business venture.
