Fulfill your campaign promises, JIBWIS tells Buhari, govs
The Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) has advised President Muhammadu Buhari and the various state governors to fulfill their campaign promises because time is not on their side and Nigerian masses are still waiting for the campaign promises they made.
JIBWIS identified health, agriculture and education as key sectors the federal and state governments must improve if the masses were to feel some impact.
The group articulated its position in Jos Sunday through its National Chairman Ulama Council, Sheikh Sani Yahya Jingir who also tasked Buhari and the governors to strengthen their effort in fighting crime and antisocial behaviours capable of threatening the peace, unity and development of the country. “There is nothing as significant as living in peace and harmony,” Jingir said.
