Supreme Court FC eye NNL action, felicitate with new Chief Registrar

Players of Abuja-based Nigeria Nation-wide League One side, Supreme Court FC, also known as Apex Boys say their target is to return to the Nigeria National League (NNL) at the end of the ongoing league season.

The players made the vow in a congratula­tory message to the new Chief Registrar of Supreme Court Barrister Hadizatu Mustapha who has already resumed office.

In the congratula­tory message conveyed by the club’s General Manager, Tolulope Oguntimehi­n, through the media officer, Ikenna Okonkwo, they said the team would work hard to secure the first spot on the standing from their group to realise their ambition of a return the second tier of the Nigerian football league.

Currently placed second on the log behind Vet Rovers FC of Jos with same points, the players expressed optimism that with the administra­tive expertise of Barrister Mustapha who is now the Chairperso­n of the club, nothing short of better times are ahead.

“We want to congratula­te our new Chairman who has already resumed office in his capacity as the Chief Registrar. We know that with her experience in the system, the club will attain new heights.

“It has always been our desire to play at the highest level as long as football league is concerned in Nigeria. During her reign, the team will do all it can to justify the support from our new leader,” the message read.

The club also used the medium to thank the outgone Chief Registrar, Barrister Mohammed Saleh who has been appointed the new Secretary of the National Judicial Council, NJC for his role which has sustained the team.
