various ideas but don’t know what to do about them will present such ideas to investors, to assist in fashioning out ways on how those ideas can grow.

Products, in terms of the latest technology that will assist ICT in Nigeria, will be unveiled. There will be more interactive sessions and a raffle draw.

ICT is said to be the next big money spinner. Technology can be used to improve our economy.

Who are your expected participants at the Expo?

We have people coming from various countries across the world including the ECOWAS as well as from various states within the country.

The dignitaries we are expecting include; Prof Sani Sambo, NIITDA, and others.

While some are guests, others are exhibitors, such as the manufacturers of smartphones in Nigeria, Afriphones.

What was the impact of the past editions?

The past editions were successful. People in government, the policy makers were in attendance. There were people with success stories. We are surely moving there.

What will be achieved in terms of impact, through the ICTEL Expo?

We are in the technological revolution age. Anybody who does not want to be left by the side must embrace ICT. We want to encourage the young people, especially those leading in the ICT business to interact with the older people in the business because they also need mentoring to grow.

Hopefully, it should provide a networking opportunity for players in the business and ICT company. It will give visibility to the trends and innovations in Nigeria as well as provide networking opportunities for decision makers and enterprises such as the ICT start-ups. In Nigeria today, there are lots of ICT start-ups and there is the need to bring them together. Very soon, such start-up companies will grow to be the Facebook and Google of the world.

We have ICT academia that needs to be brought into the mainstream. We need to bring in original investment manufacturers and investors. Both international and indigenous players in the ICT need to be brought together. It will be a one-stop shop where everyone can mingle.
