Restructuring agitators not coordinated — Ortom

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State said yesterday that those agitating for restructuring of the country do not even know what they are talking about.

Ortom made the remark in Makurdi while answering questions from newsmen.

He said the agitators were all speaking in different tones, making it difficult to understand what exactly they wanted.

Ortom said that was why leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) came out to say they did not know what the citizens really wanted.

“Those talking about restructuring don’t even know what they are talking about. There is no coordinated approach to it and that was why my party came up to say they don’t understand what the people are talking about,” he said.

The governor, therefore, called for caution over the various shades of opinion, adding that Nigerians should allow their elected representatives at the National Assembly do the job they were elected to do for the betterment of the country.
