Voy­age school im­proves pot­tery mak­ing

Voy­age In­ter­na­tional School, Abuja, has con­cluded plans to com­mis­sion a pot­tery cen­tre in a bid to en­cour­age stu­dents to un­der­stand pot­tery mak­ing and boost creativity.

Head of Coun­selling and In­no­va­tion in the school, Mr. Ituen Al­fred, made the an­nounce­ment at the school’s Prize Giv­ing Day, which was jointly cel­e­brated with the Ara­bic/Arts and Cul­tural Day, in Abuja.

Al­fred, who spoke on be­half of the vice prin­ci­pal of the school, Mrs. Binta Ogohi Aliyu, said the school would be the first to open the cen­tre in the Fed­eral Cap­i­tal Ter­ri­tory (FCT).

“We are com­ing up with a pot­tery cen­tre and we will be the first school to have this cen­tre in Abuja,” he said.
