Pharmacists to retire at 65 years
The President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Ahmed Yakasai said at the weekend that the agitation for the upward review of retirement age of pharmacists in government hospital from 60 to 65 will soon be a reality.
Yakasai assured the circular on implementation soon be issued as that the would it was being pursued with vigour.
He said at the 19th Annual National Conference of the Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists (AHAPN) held in Lagos that the implementation of the circular and other issues affecting the welfare of hospital pharmacists would be addressed in due course.
He also announced that the problem of skipping of salaries had been raised by the PSN to the Minister of Health.
