Centre postpones Buharimeter town hall meeting
The second edition of Buharimeter town hall meeting, organized by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) slated for today at Sheraton Hotels, Abuja has been postponed.
A statement by a programme officer of centre, Inim Beatrice said August 15 has been fixed as new date for the event.
The meeting was expected to be attended by six ministers including, Alhaji Lai Mohammed (Information and Culture) Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), (Power, Works and Housing) Audu Ogbe, (Agriculture and Rural Development) Kemi Adeosun, (Finance) Kayode Fayemi, (Mines and Steel Development) and Mansur Dan Ali, (Defence) among other dignitaries.
This was the second time the meeting would be shelved after it was earlier postponed from July 13.
No reason was given for the postponement, but an official said some of the ministers were afraid to talk.
