FG unveils science and tech projects in S/east

The Minister of Science and Technology Ogbonnaya Onu has embarked on a tour of the Southeast of the country to inspect projects developed by the ministry.

A statement to journalists by the ministry yesterday said the minister told Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha that during a visit that he embarked on a tour of the zone to also flag- off the waste to wealth pilot project domiciled in Umuahia, Abia state.

The minister said plans were under way to establish leather institutions across the six geo- political zones in the country, with one to be established in Okputo, Imo State.
