College honours Rochas, Dasuki, taskforce Commander, 4 others
The Green College, Jos, has honoured Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, former Minister of State Information and Communication, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki Salihu Nakande and Commander, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) over the roles the college said they have played in promoting and sustaining national unity, peace and progress in Plateau state and the nation in general.
Others that were honoured during the Speech and Prize Given Day organised by the college at SSANU Hall, University of Jos yesterday, included Plateau State Director of the DSS, Iro Abdullahi Danmusa for his contributions towards ‘national strategy for peace,’ Prof Warisu Ayosheni Ali, Director, Consumer Protection, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Zainab Mu’azu, a 14-year-old entrepreneur.
The Chairman Assabiqoon Investment Ltd, the proprietors of the college, said they honoured Governor Rochas for his effort in nation building and peace sustainability, Hajiya Khadijah Kassim because of her passion in promoting girl child education, and Dasuki Nakande for setting up the Unity FM radio in Jos which preaches peace in the state.
