Abia Warriors coach warns players against complacency

The Technical Adviser of Abia Warriors, Abdul Biffo has warned his players against complacency as he said they should not be carried away by their recent exploits against Lobi Stars.

Against all odds, Abia Warriors shocked Lobi Stars 4-2 in Makurdi to end their 80-game unbeaten run at home.

Addressing the players at the team’s hotel shortly after the victory, Biffo told the boys to consolidate on the achievement by performing better in their subsequent matches instead of thinking they have arrived.

Describing the away win as sweet, the former Niger Tornadoes of Minna tactician said the entire team was pushed to the wall after three consecutive goalless draws in the league and had resolved to start the resurgence with the game in Makurdi.
