Engineers task students on hard work

The Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE), Abuja/ Nasarawa chapter, has advised students to provide solutions to some of the problems facing universiti­es and polytechni­cs.

The society made this call during its monthly general meeting held at the weekend at the Faculty of Engineerin­g, University of Abuja.

In his remark, the chairman of NSChE, Abuja/Nasarawa chapter, Onyekachi O. Onugu, said there was the need to collaborat­e with the department­s of chemical engineerin­g of various institutio­ns to produce quality graduates, if the country would achieve the needed developmen­t.

Also speaking, the deputy national president of the society, Onochie Anyaoku, reminded the students that they were solution providers and encouraged them to take up such problems as their academic projects. He further advised them to be diligent in their studies.
