En­gi­neers task stu­dents on hard work

The Nige­rian So­ci­ety of Chem­i­cal En­gi­neers (NSChE), Abuja/ Nasarawa chap­ter, has ad­vised stu­dents to pro­vide so­lu­tions to some of the prob­lems fac­ing uni­ver­si­ties and poly­tech­nics.

The so­ci­ety made this call dur­ing its monthly gen­eral meet­ing held at the weekend at the Fac­ulty of En­gi­neer­ing, Univer­sity of Abuja.

In his re­mark, the chair­man of NSChE, Abuja/Nasarawa chap­ter, Onyekachi O. Onugu, said there was the need to col­lab­o­rate with the de­part­ments of chem­i­cal en­gi­neer­ing of var­i­ous in­sti­tu­tions to pro­duce qual­ity grad­u­ates, if the coun­try would achieve the needed de­vel­op­ment.

Also speak­ing, the deputy na­tional pres­i­dent of the so­ci­ety, Onochie Anyaoku, re­minded the stu­dents that they were so­lu­tion providers and en­cour­aged them to take up such prob­lems as their aca­demic projects. He fur­ther ad­vised them to be dili­gent in their stud­ies.
