We’ll send strong message to APC — Okowa

The chairman of the PDP Convention Planning Committee, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, said yesterday that the party will send a strong message to the ruling APC this Saturday.

The PDP non-elective convention is slated for Saturday, August 12, in Abuja.

Addressing members of his committee at their maiden meeting at Wadata Plaza in Abuja, yesterday, the Delta State governor explained that the message would signal the readiness of PDP to reclaim power in 2019.

“PDP has come alive and PDP will send a very strong message to Nigerians on Saturday. All Nigerians would on that day know that truly, the party is ready to take over power in 2019,” he said.
