Fayose: No apology for adopting my deputy

- From Doyin Adebusuyi, Ado Ekiti

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has said that he has no apology for anybody or group over the recent adoption of his deputy, Prof. Kolapo Olusola-Eleka, by stakeholders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the preferred candidate in the 2018 governorship election.

Fayose also said nobody could threaten or blackmail him over the matter, adding that he has not done anything that breached any rule or law of the party or the country.

He spoke in Ado-Ekiti yesterday through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, while reacting to a petition allegedly sent to the national leadership of the party by some people over Olusola-Eleka’s adoption.

Fayose wondered why some people would be having needless headache over a matter that did not preclude them from exercising their own rights.
