ELECTION Hausa youths route for Ezeemo
candidates against the other 33 candidates who were equally certified for the election by INEC.
“Anambra IPAC seriously thinks that such a thing is not supposed to happen because it is an unfair political treatment of other parties.
“It is false that only PDP, UPP, APC and APGA are fielding governorship candidates in the November 18 governorship election in Anambra. We see this debate as a sign of rigging; if it has good intention, why must it be these four candidates only?” he asked. The Hausa youths in Anambra State have assured the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA) governorship candidate, Chief Godwin Ezeemo, of their votes come November 18.
The youths cited the numerous developmental strides the industrialistturned politician had brought to the state which they said they equally benefitted from.
Speaking on behalf of the group at the party’s secretariat in Awka, Habib Usman Katsina, described Ezeemo as an honest and generous man with a large heart.
He said Ezeemo had genuine plans for the citizens of the state.
“Ezeemo is a man of integrity whose ideology we strongly believe in. This is a man who has several investments abroad but decided to bring them down to his state to assist in its development.
“This man has engaged not less than 2000 youths in the state irrespective of their geographical location. He has the youths at heart and if he becomes governor, he would do more for them,” he said.
He called on other youths and the entire electorate in the state to vote massively for him, assuring that they would never regret their action.
Earlier, Ezeemo, while presenting his eight-point contract with Anambra youths, said he had always carried the youths along in his programmes, including the choice of a typical youth as his running mate.
He said he had been holding town hall meetings with the youths where they were given opportunity to freely express their views; make inputs and ask questions where necessary.
