How I started modelling

It’s been six years since I started as a model. I have been in this career for long to know the basic things in the industry while I have modelled for some fashion designers and participated in several pageants.

I started modelling as a teenager while in senior secondary school, and it was just the best time and age to go into the career.

Being a beauty queen has always been on my mind

I have always dreamt of being a beauty queen; but at the beginning, I was so scared and not very confident till I gave it a try. I have often encouraged people to pursue their dreams until they get them.

Why I stayed positive, build faith during the pageantry

The competition was tight, everyone had something special about them that was different and I wondered how the judges were going to narrow it down to one Queen. I tried to have faith and stayed positive, and I thought of only the best for me. However, it wasn’t that easy for me though.

What I’m doing as the 2017 Southeast model ambassador

As a beauty queen you have a lot to accomplish before and after your reign. And there is just one year for that. So I don’t just sit back and stare at the crown without achieving something positive. I will unleash my first pet project and it is about hosting seminars in the five Southeast states to promote education and empowerment for the Girl-child. I believe the project will have a huge impact on helping more girls get educational support.

One must be unique become successful to

I can say I stood out among the other contestants in the pageant maybe because of the way I carried myself. During a practice session, I overheard one of the coordinators saying, “She’s really good”, and that inspired me through the contest‘s duration.

I’m a beauty queen with a purpose – that’s my trademark!

When my reign is over, I want to be remembered as the queen that had beauty andbrains. Whoever takes over has to know that being the Most Beautiful ModelSoutheast Ambassador’ comes with a lot of responsibilities, and not just the fame.
