CRIME I killed girl and sold her parts for N8,500 – Suspected killer
A35-year-old suspected ritualist, Yewunu Tanlaju, has disclosed that he lured a 17-year-old puff-puff seller, Taye Gusinu, to kill after buying N40 puff-puff from her.
Tanlaju who was paraded alongside 13 other suspects by the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Illiyasu, at the State police headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, explained that he tied the girl’s hand and slaughter her for ritual purposes.
The other suspects were arrested for various offences, ranging from impersonation, armed robbery, cultism and rape.
The suspect in connection with two other accomplices, Olusoji Asamo, 27, a herbalist and Joyi Suru, 31, were arrested at Arigo Ijofin in Ipokia local council.
Tanloju said he removed some vital organs of the girl which includes her private part, head, heart, intestine and two hands and dumped the remains inside a well.
He told journalists that he was paid N8,500 for the body parts by Asamo who contracted him. He added that it was the second time he would give human parts to Asamo.
The suspect killer said his first victim was a 14 yearold girl and that he collected N10,000 for the delivery.
“He (Asamo) contracted me for the job and gave me N8,500. This is not the first time I will give human parts to Asamo, it is the second time, the first one is a 14-year-old girl and he gave me N10,000”.
But, Asamo denied that he contracted Tanloju for the job, admitting that he gave the N8,500 in order to expose Tanloju.
