‘It was my passion that rolled me into ‘Kampe’ song’

-

Twenty eight year old artiste, Madu Vincent Chike widely called “Madu” has released a song he titled “Kampe”.

The young artiste said the song was produced by DJ Coublon and the video directed by Clarence Peters. He noted that it is an embodiment of his passion which he hopes will define him in Nigeria’s musical scene.

While interacting with newsmen in Lagos, Madu said he changed his stage name from ‘Rexy’ to ‘Madu’ to rebrand himself and identify with native and cultural ties.

The single album is from the stable of Young Nation Ltd and Heritage Live Entertainment.

He said, “Music is something I cannot do without. I have intense passion for it. The production of ‘Kampe’ thus has helped to project that to my global fans who may want to know my identity, my focus and my path.”

The artiste said his journey into the musical scene started in 2010 from when he had to study the industry while trying to carve a niche for himself. He described himself as the new generation artiste who is influenced by different genres of music.

Madu is the first musician to be signed to Young Nation Ltd, a management company founded by Kamal Ajiboye, Nelson Ononiwu and popular media personality, Olisa Adibua.

“Madu is a gifted young guy. His journey so far has been good but now we are taking it to a whole new level. We believe that the connection between Young Nation and Heritage Live Entertainment is the catalyst that will propel Madu to the next level,” Adibua said.
