KSMC and its new innovations

Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) is well equipped with modern equipment that reaches heterogeneous audience in some part of the country and capable of disseminating different programs.

The radio station Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC), born of the former Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) was established in the 1950s, today under the management of the present MD Ibrahim Ismaila Ahmed has improved and updated the radio station programs. This has brought the radio corporation with huge listeners in and around the state.

But with new innovation the Managing Director is rebuilding the news room and renovating the Muhammadu Ladan House as well as the Katabu transmitting station.

The radio station is set to commence the construction of a magnificent corporate headquarters and has undergone a lot of transformation within the one year since the assumption of office of the new MD. There is ongoing restructuring of the KSMC with training and retraining of staff as well as procuring modern digital equipment for the radio and TV station.

With newly laid fibre cables, news and current affairs, TV broadcast on UHF 54 from 5:30am to 1.30am, and with Capital sound 90.9FM stereo and KADA FM, KSMC is now the most consistent radio station in the North beating even the FRCN Kaduna. Yusuf Ababa Halad 08099121957
