Expect more from Buhari in 2018 - APC women leader

- By Muideen Olaniyi

President Muhammadu Buhari will roll out more people-oriented policies and deliver more developmental projects in 2018, the All Progressives Congress (APC) national women leader, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has said.

The APC chieftain, who is also the president of the Council of African Political Parties (CAPP), said this yesterday in her New Year message.

“Just as with our personal goals, the President Buhariled government set a lot of goals to help better the lives of Nigerians. Some were achieved, others are still in the pipeline,” she said.

She said as “we step into the new year, we are confident that a lot more milestones will be achieved with the active support and collaboration of all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe or religion.”

Hajiya Ramatu reminded Nigerians that “all criticisms are welcome, but only constructive criticisms will bring the desired change.”

She thanked Buhari for the boards’ appointments, urging “especially our women to use these appointments to advance the course of change and be a Vanguard of anticorruption.”

She urged Nigerian women to rise up to the task of building solid homes which will, in turn, translate to nation-building. “Let’s support and pray for our leaders at all levels so as to enhance good governance for all,” she said.
