‘Masari following Buhari’s footsteps’
The Deputy Speaker of Katsina State House of Assembly, Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki, says Governor Aminu Masari is keenly following the footsteps of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Tafoki, who said this in a statement, noted that the governor was doing so by providing qualitative and effective leadership that would transform people and communities through good governance and rule of law.
He said Governor Masari had remained focused and resolute towards achieving set targets in line with the restoration agenda.
According to him, the people of Faskari Local Government Area (LGA) should remain loyal and supportive of the governor in his effort towards taking the state to the next level of development based on social justice, fairness and equitable transformation.
“Masari is as well implementing the manifesto of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) through the provision of infrastructure, revitalization of the health sector and economic and social empowerment,” he also said
He attributed the cordiality between the legislative and executive arms of government in the state to the Speaker, Alh. Abubakar Yahaya Kusada, whom he said, had been piloting the affairs of the legislature in the state without rancour or divisiveness.
Tafoki, who urged the people to engage on meaningful programmes and projects for self-reliance, also implored them to enhance their level of security consciousness and co-exist peacefully.
