Post Master General elected chair African Postal CEOs forum
The Postmaster General of the Federation and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) Bisi Adegbuyi has been elected Chairman of the African Postal CEOs Forum.
A statement issued by NIPOST General Manager (Corporate Communications), Mr Franklin Alao said Adegbuyi was elected at an election held early this month in Abidjan, Cote d’ivoire.
The statement said he would lead the forum for three years, starting from 2018.
“The election is a confirmation of innovative ideas he has brought into the postal sector,” the statement added. The Board of Directors of Resort Savings & Loans Plc has appointed Mr. Kolawole Israel Adesina as its executive director/chief operating officer.
A statement from the lender said that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has approved the appointment.
Adesina was the internal auditor of the bank before the appointment.
He is a chartered accountant and a certified forensic auditor with over 20 years’ experience.
Adesina joined the employment of the bank in 2010 as head of finance & administration.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Lagos.
Adesina is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
