Injustice cause of our problems - Otaru of Auchi

The Otaru of Auchi, Alhaji Aliru Momoh, Ikelebe III, has called on traditional rulers and other leaders to ensure justice in everything they do for the nation to move forward.

Otaru said this yesterday in Auchi, Etsako West local government area of the Edo State during the 21st Auchi Day celebration, stressing that injustice was the cause of most problems bedeviling mankind.

He said the nation was having problems today in all sectors because Nigerians, especially traditional rules, were not applying justice in their actions.

“My advice to the traditional rulers is that we should always ensure that justice prevails in our kingdoms and elsewhere we go,” he said.

Otaru explained that the Auchi Day was set aside to celebrate the Almighty Allah through prayer and Quranic recitation and competition.

On his part, the Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki, said through his Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Hon. Mariam Abubakar, that in the last one year of his administration, the state government had taken critical steps to ensure that business thrived in Edo north.

In his address, the chairman of the occasion, Chief Omamofe Boyo, commended the people for establishing the annual event aimed at grooming the children in Quranic recitation.
