...Niger South PDP youths endorse Hanafi

PDP youth groups across the eight local government areas that make up Niger South Senatorial District have thrown their weight behind the gubernatorial ambition of Engr. Hanafi Muazu Sudan for 2019.

Engr. Hanafi was one of the aspirants favoured to fly the PDP governorship flag in 2019 in Niger State.

He is from Kontagora Local Government Area in Zone C like the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello.

His ambition received a boost at the PDP Zonal Unity Rally for Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency held in Agaie Local Government Area at the weekend, with many youth groups endorsing him as their sole candidate for the governorship.

Among the groups which openly endorsed him at the rally included Azza Youth Foundation, G30, Lapai, Mokwa Youth Progressive Association, Katcha/ Badeggi Youth Alliance, Gbako Youth Foundation, Nupe Youth Movement Bida, Youth Solidarity Movement Zone A and Hanafi Youth Support Group Zone A, among others.

The groups at the rally urged party stakeholders across the state to support the aspiration of Hanafi so that he could complete Zone C’s second term based on a power rotation agreement by all the three senatorial districts.

Among the party’s bigwigs at the rally were a representative of the National Chairman of the PDP, Chief Uche Secondus, who is also the National Financial Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Maibasira; a member of the Board of Trustees and a former Minister, Prof. Jerry Gana; a former Governor, Muazu Babaginda Aliyu, among others.
