Over 100 leading Nigerian companies and counterpart firms from Ghana, South Africa, UK and UAE will participate at the 3rd Nigeria Real Estate Summit and Expo (NIRESE) to be held in Abuja later this month.

Announcing this recently in Abuja, Mr. Steve Ike, head of the summit’s organising team stated that all was set for the hosting of the summit which is one of the most important events in the Nigerian Real Estate calendar.

He said the summit is expected to welcome over 400 delegates, 2,500 investmentready visitors, executives and top government functionaries, in addition to over N20 billion worth of real estate deals that are expected to be struck at the 2-day event.

According to Ike, the 2018 summit with the theme ‘Collaborating to Achieve Sustainable Funding for Adequate and Affordable Housing in Nigeria’, is positioned to deepen on-going discussions, stimulate measurable actions and provide the most inclusive and sweeping answers to the housing finance issues in Nigeria.

He said the summit is expected to gather the most influential real estate players, industry professionals and policy makers to learn, share, discuss and chart a new path for the Nigerian real estate industry.

Ike added that the summit will cover current burning issues affecting the industry.

“These will include challenges associated with fluctuations in the economy. It will also analyze supply and demand as the local economy and growing population drives land expansion.”

Aside from the national conference, the summit will feature an exhibition that will provide opportunity for property developers and other service providers in the industry to showcase existing housing stock, building materials and new construction technologies.
