Different dimensions of cybercrime

Cybercrime is defined as a crime in which a computer is the object at the crime checking, phasing, spamming, or is used as a tool to commit an offense.

Cybercrime may also be referred to as computer crime. People who engage in cybercrime are called cyber-criminals or fraudsters or criminals. They use computer for communicat­ion and document or data storage. They are also called hacker because they perform illegal activities. They also use computer or devices to access personal informatio­n, business trade secrets or use the internet for exploitive or malicious purposes.

Cybercrime­s composes a wider range of activities but these can generally be broken into two categories. Crimes that target computer networks or device those types of crimes include viruses and denial of service.

Crimes that use computer networks advance other criminal activities. These types of crimes include cybercrime, phasing and fraud or identify theft.

Brief synopsis at the various offenses that constitute computer crime, such as unauthoriz­ed intrusion into a protected network using encryption in the commission of another crime or introducin­g computer viruses into a computer system,.

Cyber bullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyber bullying can occur through SMS, Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people can view, participat­e in, or share content. Cyber bullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private informatio­n about someone else causing embarrassm­ent or humiliatio­n. Some cyber bullying crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior.

One is the issue of unemployme­nt many youths today are not employed and therefore engaging in such act in order to spoil people’s reputation or to famish people’s image. Other motives behind the crimes include sexual harassment, playing pranks, causing mayhem, taking revenge, and extortion.

Other cause is laziness, youths today find it difficult to look for a menial job, and thereby they prefer getting more money in an easy way without suffering.
