Re: Generals who never quit politics

-

It is safe to conclude in my view that there is no past head of state before IBB that positioned himself to be Godfather, kingmaker in politics with much influence. Gowon, Obasanjo (before second coming), Buhari (before second coming) were not known to be powerful in terms of determining who wins or gets what. It is highly speculated that IBB played a key role in the emergence of OBJ as President in 1999. OBJ learnt from IBB to make Yar’adua and GEJ. And that is playing out in our states today as Governors ‘anoint’ successors through godfatherism. IBB may be blamed for planting the seed of evil, he inspired impunity and corruption.

Gov El-Rufai of Kaduna should remember that no matter how long he stays on the throne one day he will leave it as some were there before him so whatever he does to people if he is fortunate to be alive it will also be done to him and nobody will sympathize with him.

Akila, that wasn’t funny or intelligent. Civil surveillance is a critical element in military operations the world over and has been so throughout history.

I still don’t understand why the Nigerian Army employed farmers and fishermen to look for Dapchi school girls. How can farmers or fishermen that are not armed search for these girls who are in the hands of insurgents? Please rethink your actions or Boko Haram will kill them or abduct them and use them against you.
