Re: Messy marriages and shattered Homes (I)

-

Iwish to inform you that I read your article in the Daily Trust of Tuesday, 6/3/18 and the topic in question was highly educative and true in all respect. Other dominant issues affecting our youths/ Couples today among others is class difference, outright lies with regards to the status of would be Wives/husband, Free-Rider Husband who will marry from the Rich or connected Families, influence and adoption of Foereign cultures in our marriages without regard to our cultural norms and values as well as Non recognition of Marriage as a religious injunction as against seeking for false love and sensual pleasures.

Equally, inexperience families tends to be carried away by flock of friends and well wishers not knowing some are the sources of upheavals in the relationship if not monitored very closely.

As you also observed in the piece, some ladies are well connected from highbrow families, however they cannot prepare decent meal for the family due largely to too much attachment to Social Media Apps., DSTV episodes and other Audio Visual sites.

Well the problems are many, but I think it is advisable to consider a special institutional training for would be Couples to be exposed to the nitty gritty of selecting the right spouse, rights of each, duties, responsibilities of each partner as well as the management of the home and the family.
