PDP, APC members join SDP in FCT

Members of the PDP and the APC who are loyal to Ambassador Esther Audu and Hon. Abu Abaji, a former Abaji Area Council chairman, on Monday, announced their membership of the SDP.

SDP’s Acting Chairman in the FCT), Mr. Danis Nyang, said this at a joint meeting of the representatives of the old and new SDP members held at the national secretariat of the party.

The meeting, according to a statement signed by Christy Nwanchwu, the FCT SDP Publicity Secretary, unanimously appointed the former Abaji Area Council Chairman, Alh Abu Abaji, as the chairman of the contact, mobilisation, integration, and steering committee of the FCT chapter.

The committee is charged with the responsibility of ensuring proper restructuring of the party, as well as full integration of new members into various tiers of the party structure.
