25 administrators end NOC/IOC sports management course
In continuation of their efforts to improve sports administration in Nigeria, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) have concluded a 3-day advance sports management course in Lagos.
“A total of 25 sports administrators drawn from both the states and the federal level are attending the 2018/2019 Nigeria Olympic Committee/ International Olympic Committee Advanced Sports Management Course holding at the Ekwa Guest House, Yaba Lagos,” said a statement from the organizers.
Speaking at the opening session, declared open by the NOC 2nd vice president Chief Fatai Williams, the chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Dr. Kweku Tandor who thanked the NOC for organizing the programme which he said will help in improving sports administration in Nigeria.
Lagos State tops the list of participants with 13 sports administrators.
