JIBWIS holds convention to sensitise Muslims on peace

The Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) with its headquarte­rs in Jos, Plateau State, has slated Sunday, April 1, for its annual Islamic convention and book presentati­on in Abuja.

A press release signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the organizati­on, Hon. Ahmad Muhammad Ashiru, said the event would also feature a N350 million appeal fund launch for the constructi­on of a conference hall and a library and to buy office equipment and operationa­l vehicles. The Kaduna Electric has said the man identified as Ewuga who was electrocut­ed as he was trying to reconnect electricit­y in a community in Kafanchan, Kaduna State Tuesday evening, was not their staff.
