How girl, 4, identified her molester in Niger

Afour year- old pupil of a private school identified a 19-year-old staff that allegedly molested her in school yesterday.

Victor Opute allegedly lured the little girl to the school toilet where he reportedly abused her.

Daily Trust gathered that the victim was seen crying in pain after the incident and narrated what happened to the school authority.

The school authority, it was learnt, assembled all the male staff in the school to identify the culprit.

The girl was to identify the molested her.

The girl was have identified as the person then brought person who then said to Victor Opute that allegedly abused her.

Our correspondent learnt that the school authority then called officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC to effect the arrest of the culprit.

The little girl is said to be currently undergoing treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

The state Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr Philip Ayuba, confirmed the incident, saying the case had been transferred to the state Child Rights Organisation.

The commandant said the corps would continue to monitor the case until it reached its logical conclusion.

He urged school proprietors to be careful about the type of staff they employed and the people that entered their school premises.
