ADP’ll make a difference in 2019 — Bwari
The Action Democratic Party (ADP) will make significant impact in the 2019 general elections nationwide because of its people-oriented principles of transparency, quota for women and youths in leadership, a chieftain of the party has said.
Barrister Bello Bawa Bwari, who is one of the chieftains of the party from Niger State, said ADP had become attractive because of its principles.
He added that in the last one year of its existence, the party had become the fastest growing political party in Nigeria.
The ADP chieftain said as far as policies and programmes for the country were concerned, ADP would focus on re-engineering Nigeria’s economy through a multi-revenue approach with a view to bringing development to the entire country.
While congratulating the party as it marks one year of its registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), he said its major focus would be on inclusiveness in governance and not zoning.
“ADP is a viable alternative as far as governance is concerned in this country. We have tried other political parties, and we are all witnesses to what they have done.
“Our major problem as a country and people is lack of good leadership. But I can tell Nigerians that ADP has all the right kind of leadership we need to succeed as a nation,” he said.
