I slit the throats of four herdsmen in Zamfara – Suspect

Anotorious criminal who had been on the police wanted list Ibrahim Abdullahi otherwise known as “Zuma” has confessed to slitting the throats of four herdsmen in Zamfara State.

Zuma was making the confession when he was paraded before the newsmen by the state police command. The suspect was also arrested alongside five other members of his gang.

The state commission­er of police Mr Kenneth Ebrimson had earlier told newsmen that the suspect, who is from Magazu village in Tsafe Local Government Area of the state had been on the police wanted list for quite a long time.

“He was the brain behind series of killings in Tsafe axis. He is a serial killer and would never escape justice. He killed four persons while working on their farms at Kwalange village near Tsafe town,” he added.

Meanwhile, the police in the state have also arrested two suspects in connection with Kwaddi village killings in Zurmi local government area of the state.

Kwaddi village was attacked two weeks ago and several people were killed.

The suspects arrested are Lawali Malan Sani a.k.a Wargaje and a Nigerien identified as Abdulmalik Alhaji Dikko.

This is in addition to the arrest of two suspects supplying fuel to armed bandits in the forest. The suspect identified as Musa Umar was intercepte­d by the command Tactical Teams on a coordinate­d bush combing along Kawaye bush in Anka Local Government Area of the state.
