Group pays N45m for Buhari’s APC nomination forms
Agroup, the National Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN), has bought Presidential Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for President Muhammadu Buhari.
NCAN National Coordinator, Sunusi Musa, who presented the N45 million cheque to the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, said the group had been persuading President Buhari since 2017 to seek re-election before he accepted the calls this year.
Musa said the president was encouraged to run again to continue the good work he started and consolidate on the gains made so far.
“We have no doubt that Mr. President has both in action and word been working to lay a foundation for a greater and prosperous nation that our generation and future generations will be proud of.
“Under his administration, Nigeria has become a country sought after for investments in the world; Nigeria has assumed its leadership role in not only Africa but around the world,” he said.
“It is for this reason, Mr. Chairman that we have decided to pull our meagre resources together and purchase the Expression of Interest and Nomination form for President Buhari as he presents himself to our party members to be chosen as its candidate for the 2019 general elections.
“Our members the various villages, governments and states contributed to making happen,” he added. from local have this
