@Ngobuadavid The 2018 Aiteo Cup finalists, Kano Pillars have concluded arrangements to camp for at least four days in Benin City, Edo State ahead of their clash with Enugu Rangers on October 24 in Asaba, Delta State.

The club’s Technical Adviser, Coach Ibrahim Musa told Daily Trust yesterday that the state government has given approval for the club to camp preparatory to the finals.

He said after Kano Pillars qualified for their second ever Federation Cup final, the management appealed to the state government to fund the team’s camping.

Musa said towards the end of this week, the team will relocate to Benin City where they would put finishing touches to their preparations for the final match.

“Yes, I can confirm to you that we have settled for Benin City where we are going to camp for the finals.

“After we qualified for the finals, our management appealed to government for us to camp ahead of our match with Enugu Rangers.

“Approval has been given so we would camp for at least four days in Benin City. From there we shall move to Asaba for the match.

“We need total concentration for the task ahead. It is going to be a very difficult match so there is need for us to prepare very well,” he said.

Musa therefore thanked the government of Kano State for giving the club all the necessary support in the Aiteo Cup competition, adding that the present squad of Kano Pillars are rearing to win their first ever Federation Cup trophy.
