but the truth in respect of the killings going on in Nigeria today. Our religious, political, traditional and community leaders must go back to the drawing board and preach harmonious and peaceful co-existence between one another despite our differences. We must also device a means of taking care of the uneducated and unemployed youths in this country.

Daily Trust columnist, Jamila Abubakar, penned her thoughts on the Shehu Sani, el-Rufai, Oshiomhole and President Buhari’s political embroilment over Kaduna APC Senatorial primaries. To me, the real issue/lesson is the ultimate futility of politics of foolhardiness, arrogance and inconsiderate selfrighteousness exhibited by Sen. Sani. What a strange politics is it that a first-term Senator, like Sani, Hunkuyi or Niger’s David Umar, would seek, from the onset, to enter into supremacy duel for 2nd term gubernatorial politics with their states sameparty first-term Governors? The spoil of unmerited senate choice committee chairmanships and multimillion naira emolument shouldn’t have beclouded their reasoning. Being the APC Leader, faced with el-Rufai’s “catalogue of Sani’s sins”, President Buhari did the needful in line with his usual integrity stance.
