Elections: Borno declares today work-free day

The Borno State Government has declared today as a public holiday to enable workers and other people across the state to prepare for today’s governorsh­ip and state assembly elections.

The Commission­er for Home Affairs, Informatio­n and Culture, Mohammed Bulama, announced this in a statement yesterday in Maiduguri.

“This is to inform the general public that tomorrow, Friday, 8th March, 2019 has been declared a public holiday by the Borno State Government.
