Elections: Borno declares today work-free day

The Borno State Government has declared today as a public holiday to enable workers and other people across the state to prepare for today’s governorship and state assembly elections.

The Commissioner for Home Affairs, Information and Culture, Mohammed Bulama, announced this in a statement yesterday in Maiduguri.
